The Hottest Wellness Trends of 2020

What are the best health products to try this year?
“CBD is the hottest trend of 2020,” author and wellness lifestyle expert Jaya Jaya Myra told NBC Connecticut as she shared all her favorite CBD products and other wellness favorites. From vegan pet foods and probiotic skincare to CBD topical gels and all-natural deodorants, there are a lot of exciting new products to try this year!
Vegan dog food
January has become Veganuary. This year kicked off with the Golden Globes’ 1,300 guests dining on an entirely plant-based menu to raise awareness about the environmental impact of food choices. Heck, even singer Meat Loaf has gone vegan!
While people are dining on meatless burgers and dairy-free cheeses, Jaya Jaya Myra points out that “about 25 percent of meat production goes to the pet food industry.”
Wild Earth is a plant-based dog food. “If you’re trying to reduce your environmental impact and you have pets it’s really good to look at the pet products that can do that for you,” she said.
Probiotic skincare
Next, Myra looked at probiotic skincare.
“We know about probiotics being important for your gut and the gut brain connection and staying healthy. But, what about your skin?” she asked.
“You have this flora on your skin as well. When you keep it healthy and balanced it can reduce redness, inflammation, acne and a whole host of skin problems,” she said, pointing out two of her favorite brands: Tula and Mother Dirt probiotic skincare.
Balancing our skin’s bacteria may even reduce the signs of aging, she said. And, who doesn’t want to do that?

Wellness lifestyle expert Jaya Jaya Myra declares CBD “the hottest trend of 2020” and showcases some of her favorite products, including Hawaiian Choice CBD tinctures and topical gel.

“CBD is the hottest trend of 2020,” Myra declared.
“Taking it internally can help you reduce anxiety, stress and depression. Putting it on your skin can help to get rid of pain and reduce redness and inflammation,” she said.
The wellness guru showcased supplements, tinctures, CBD gummies, waters, teas, and bath bombs.
“Some can pep you up for energy or you can take a calming relaxing one to help you sleep,” she said.
Some of the products she focused on were Willie Nelson’s Remedy Coffee, a CBD face serum, CBD coffee and tea pods and Hawaiian Choice Relax CBD tincture and CBD Topical Gel with arnica.
“It’s pretty amazing stuff,” she said adding that you don’t need to worry about side effects with CBD.
All-natural deodorants
Lastly, Myra looked at all-natural deodorants.
That means that they have no parabens, sulfates or aluminums. Myra pointed out that some believe aluminum may be linked to Alzheimer’s disease.
Her favorite all-natural deodorants included Every Man Jack, which contains activated charcoal, Luna Nueva’s Coconut Dream Deodorant, EKC Natural Deodorant, Eczema Honey Soothing Oatmeal Deodorant and one cutely called Under Carriage.
Surprisingly, Lume claims to fight bacteria and even offer 72 hours of protection!
So, if you choose to go all-natural and vegan this year, you don’t need to smell bad or starve your dog. Add some probiotic skincare and CBD for a younger looking more relaxed you!
